Program Overview

The Santé New Zealand Certification Program is designed to move Santé Business Owners through a clear learning journey: prepare → discover → experience → follow → connect → reflect & apply → assess → certify.

Program Purpose

To ensure Santé Business Owners understand the New Zealand origin, cultivation, harvesting, processing, certification and supply relationship behind Santé Barley, and can explain the story accurately and confidently after experiencing the farm and processing journey.

Course Content

PHASE 1 — PREPARE
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to identify what they need to learn, observe, and document during the New Zealand experience. Before the New Zealand Visit This segment prepares Santé Business Owners to know what they should look for during the visit.

Module 1

PHASE 2 — DISCOVER
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to explain why Santé chose New Zealand and why Canterbury is suitable for barley production.

PHASE 3 — EXPERIENCE
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to identify key observations about barley cultivation, harvesting, farming practices, and technology.

PHASE 4 — FOLLOW
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to describe the major stages from barley leaf harvest to raw-material powder and explain the purpose of each stage. Santé Business Owners should record what they actually observe or learn at each stage. (insert graphics from page 9) Follow-the-Journey Observation Record

PHASE 5 — CONNECT
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to explain how Santé's investment and certification support the New Zealand barley supply story.

PHASE 6 — REFLECT & APPLY
By the end of this phase, Santé Business Owners should be able to connect their New Zealand experience to the complete Santé Barley story and communicate it accurately and meaningfully.
